- Dynamics GP Upgrade for Hospitality Industry
DNS upgraded existing processes from Dynamics GP 10 to Dynamics GP 2015 which provided new functionality for this Client’s 50 plus company databases. Not only did the process of the test upgrade occur in three major steps to move from GP 10 to GP 2015, but the testing and verification revealed issues that needed addressed prior to the actual upgrade. Functionality such as document attachments, workflows, printer selection, copy and paste of journal entries, and financial reporting was improved tremendously and allowed users to proceed with tasks unabated. The mission to exceed expectations is reflected in how it moved with technology in its accounting software upgrade to Dynamics GP, allowing the full functionality and support of Dynamics GP to shine through in every transaction. The accounting solution implemented by DNS put the Client in a position to accommodate its rapid expansion in the hospitality industry.
- Streamlined CRM Reporting System with Graphics
The internal reporting system within CRM gained a compact and streamlined report for its weekly sales meetings and tracking of business by the sales reps in the company. With the expertise of DNS within CRM, the former report was transformed into an interactive report covering sales and all graphics that encompasses the process. Opportunities and Quotes were categorized by their Accounts and relevant Projects by salesperson with hyperlinks for easy navigation to the CRM record for more details. The report data is continually being updated by sales reps, which provides selecting or including content as an easier alternative as it can be pulled at any time by management, creating a resourceful way to monitor sales productivity. Training for accurate CRM input by employees for inclusion in the report, fostered and increased acceptance and efficiency in the CRM Online software. This progressive reporting system now matched the company's status as an innovator and partner to leading manufacturers around the world.
- Trench Drain Configurator App
In 2010 DNS created an online trench drain configurator that advanced the plumbing products industry and improved all aspects and options available. The app used scaled pictures and automation to create and configure trench drains for a variety of complicated configurations. The options now available at the customer level during the quote and order process allows improved flexibility and control of the trench drain order procedure. Not only did customers gain more options in the configuration process for a trench drain, but now engineers have a better understanding of its customer’s needs and exact specifications. Multiple trench drain runs on the document and in the app show configuration, individual slope length input, connector validation, minimum and maximum depth input, and sidewall or neutral options for extending trench length all tied in to maximize the customer experience, prevent configuration errors and provide the engineers a detailed final document with the imperative information to configure the exact trench drain configuration needed by the customer. This DNS solution fosters commitment to excellence in the plumbing products industry.
- Dynamics CRM & NAV Quote Reporting Solution
- Packaging Manufacturer bridges CRM, ClickDimensions and E2
A packaging, storage and protective products design and fabrication manufacturer called upon DNS to bridge data between Dynamics 365 (CRM), E2 ERP and ClickDimensions in order to drive Leads & Quotes to the next level of their sales. This manufacturer creates plastic collapsible, re-shippable and reusable containers as an alternative to corrugated boxes, saving both money and landfill space. Its patented hinge feature allows containers to fold flat for inexpensive storage and return, and provides flexibility in customizing containers to meet certain specifications. DNS implemented a Quote Request on the company’s public website that assigned new Leads to the next available sales representative in a rotating sales pool managed in Dynamics 365. Additionally, website Leads were compared to existing ERP customers then managed accordingly in Dynamics 365. ClickDimensions marketing tool for Dynamics 365 drives Leads to the company public website where Dynamics 365 compares new Leads with existing E2 Customers then immediately notifies Sales staff of the inquiry. This packaging, storage and protective products design and fabrication manufacturer now handles a significant increase in Leads resulting from enhanced marketing techniques to drive sales with new and existing Customers in need of custom-made shipping products and packaging methods.
- Freight Rating App for Global Supply Chain Management Company
Scaling was a big factor for this global supply chain management company that specializes in Domestic & International Third-party logistics services. The number of online transactions along with customer transportation needs caused this company to rely more and more on their website to communicate with customers. As such, DNS created a web app to rate and ship freight for the supply chain management industry. eShipPlus.com web app was born as a two tier, role based freight rating web application created using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET tools and SQL Server database along with SMC’s Rateware and CarrierConnect engine. Today eShipPlus.com is a three-tiered app allowing customers to rate freight then instantly fax or email bills of lading to freight terminals for scheduling pickup. Along with the rating side, DNS created an administrative site for customers to manage and update freight transactions and user access. The web app allows customers to search for and select the best rate, generate a bill of lading and immediately notify and schedule the carrier for pickup. eShipPlus.com enterprise ui/ux is built on Microsoft products using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET tools.
